Our programs are divided into Adult and Child categories based on eligibility, determined by the waivers and programs each participant is approved for.

Adult Programs

Community First Choice

Community First Choice (CFC) is a Health First Colorado benefit that may cover in-home support services, including IHSS, to help eligible members live safely and independently at home.

Elderly, Blind, and Disabled

The Elderly, Blind, and Disabled (EBD) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program that helps eligible adults who meet nursing facility level of care get long-term supports at home or in the community.

Brain Injury

The Brain Injury (BI) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program for people age 16 and older with a qualifying brain injury (that occurred before age 65) who meet nursing facility or hospital level of care.

Complementary & Integrative Health

The Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program for adults with certain neurological conditions who need long-term supports to remain at home.

Supported Living Services

The Supported Living Services (SLS) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program for adults with an intellectual or developmental disability who want to live in their own home or with family while receiving ongoing supports.

Developmental Disabilities

The Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program for people with an intellectual or developmental disability who need a higher level of long-term support to live safely in the community.

Children’s Extensive Support

The Children’s Extensive Supports (CES) Waiver is a Health First Colorado program for children with significant support needs. To qualify, a child must meet the Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities level of care,

Children’s Habilitative Residential Program

The CHRP Waiver is a Colorado Medicaid program for children and youth who have very high support needs and are at risk of needing care outside the home.
